Being charitable doesn’t require big government. It’s about voluntary compassion; neighbors helping neighbors, communities solving problems, people choosing to do good without bureaucrats skimming off the top. Humanity thrives most when kindness is free, not forced.

Elon Musk was right that Woodrow Wilson is one of the worst Presidents in American History This post will explain to you why he is one of the worst Presidents in American History 1️⃣ The Federal Reserve Wilson signed the Federal Reserve Act into law, establishing the Federal Reserve System. This created 12 regional Federal Reserve Banks across the country and gave the Federal Reserve control over interest rates, money supply, and credit conditions—rather than Congress. As a result, unelected officials gained enormous influence over the U.S. economy. Additionally, this legislation weakened the Gold Standard. For those interested in a deeper understanding of the Federal Reserve, The Creature from Jekyll Island will provide you with an in-depth analysis. 2️⃣ Economic Policies Wilson also supported the implementation of a graduated income tax following the 16th Amendment. He endorsed steep income tax rates, maintaining wartime levels as high as 77% even after World War I ended. He further promoted the creation of the Federal Trade Commission to regulate commerce. 3️⃣ Racial Policies and Segregation Wilson allowed the re-segregation of federal offices. Black federal employees were forced into separate workspaces, bathrooms, and cafeterias, and many were demoted or fired. Wilson publicly defended these policies.Wilson hosted the first film shown at the White House, The Birth of a Nation (1915), a film that glorified the KKK. 4️⃣ World War I and Civil Liberties In the 1916 election, Wilson campaigned on the promise to “keep us out of war.” Yet, within months of his re-election, the U.S. entered World War I in April 1917. During the war, the Wilson Administration severely restricted civil liberties. Espionage Act (1917): Criminalized criticizing the draft or distributing anti-war materials. Sedition Act (1918): Made it illegal to speak against the government, flag, or military. These laws allowed the federal government to arrest Americans for opposing the war, distributing anti-war pamphlets, or speaking against the government. Thousands, including political opponent Eugene Debs, were jailed. 5️⃣ Expansion of Federal Power Wilson expanded federal authority during the war. The government took control of railroads, telegraph and telephone systems, food and fuel production and distribution, shipping, the economy, and agriculture. This was a brand new level of federal control over private industry. 6️⃣ Propaganda Wilson created the first modern government propaganda agency, the Committee on Public Information headed by George Creel. The CPI's purpose was dedicated to sway support for the war by distributing countless posters, pamphlets, newspaper releases, magazine advertisements, films, and school campaigns. 7️⃣ Immigration He opposed restrictive immigration policies. He vetoed the Immigration Act, which would reduce unskilled European immigration by requiring literacy tests. Congress overrode his veto. 8️⃣ Failures in Foreign Policy Wilson’s greatest failure came with his effort to establish the League of Nations, a fore runner of the United Nations. Wilson failed to secure U.S. ratification of the League. Domestic opposition, mainly from the U.S. Senate, viewed the League as a threat to American sovereignty. Without U.S. membership, the League lacked both legitimacy and it failed to forum. Leaving Wilson’s vision for a Global Order as a failure. Those are just some of the reasons why he is the one of the worst Presidents in American History. Thank you for reading and God Bless.
