@danpfeiffer @PodSaveAmerica Disappointing build up. Was hoping this was the official launch of a run for something (Yes we Dan!)

1. Personal Announcement: After years of hearing from local candidates, grassroots organizers, and others who rely on @PodSaveAmerica and my newsletter for messaging advice because they can't afford a consultant, I decided to do something about it. Introducing Message Box Pro.

@lithos_graphein right now it appears to be 321 tomorrow who knows. ;)

@lithos_graphein Only game in town unless you want to pack up and move to Korea or Taiwan. (IBM is cool but kinda doesn't count)

What the hell is even going on here?
Intel@intel
Intel is proud to join the Terafab project with @SpaceX, @xAI, and @Tesla to help refactor silicon fab technology. Our ability to design, fabricate, and package ultra-high-performance chips at scale will help accelerate Terafab’s aim to produce 1 TW/year of compute to power future advances in AI and robotics. It was fun hosting @elonmusk at Intel this past weekend!

@insane_analyst Replaced an old passive vented gas heater that started leaking with a brand new tankless + recirc. Unlimited hot water. Not much of a choice once the old tank starts spilling

Canon's 2026 outlook.
- i-line down.
- KrF for NAND up, 71 units, +25 YoY.
- Nanoimprint had multiple units shipped, fab "mass-production" verification underway (Intel IAP + Micron? NIL? just a guess**).
Also they clearly indicate here that Inkjet Adaptive Planariaztion (IAP) is just another form of NanoImprint. It's not obvious, but this is indeed the case. The pattern being printed is the wafer topography itself.
** these 2 are the only "major semi" fabs writing litho papers on this.

@FredVFalcone @lithos_graphein Are you one of those dirty wilsonites? :) I was at Nealeys group in grad school so there was always a dsa rivalry there
English

@FredVFalcone @lithos_graphein Nano imprint came out of grant Wilson's work at UT so not surprising there
English

@lithos_graphein 'how can we certify for 5 years or ten years of constant space radiation?' 'we plan to burn up in the atmosphere in two years' alternative joke 'sorry I got my radiation induced bit flip in your stupidly big random number generator.'
English

@lithos_graphein Use error correction until you can't then deorbit. Shrug

What's different with the space version? Shielding, cooling and weight? I've not seen any details on what they change or how they do it.
