@thatonecain see, my friend. some burdens you don’t release. you just learn to wear them differently, i guess. and if one night it becomes too heavy even for me… i’ll let the moon hold it for a while. she’s always been kinder with my weight than i am.

@thatonecain instead, i renegotiate with it. i shift it from one shoulder to the other. or from my hands to the page. i let that burden become language instead of bone. it doesn’t make it lighter... but at least it stops being silent.

longing teaches you to starve beautifully. and i’m so tired of being beautiful in that way.
