@advaithj1 I don't really like it when apps are avoiding system-provided ways to update themselves. I understand that it's an Electron app and thus a rather small subset of system dependencies is used, but it just..

It literally happened to me because TAB wasn't registered for some reason and I copied a file as "~" in my current directory. Then I was like "nuh huh, no messing in my system, let's remove it". Next thing you know rm purged my .ssh and god knows what else before I hit Ctrl-C 😭

If you ever accidentally create a file named "~" in a local directory, PLEASE, do yourself a favor and delete it through a gui file manager. DO NOT try to be a hero. Don't ask me how I arrived to this conclusion
