What a great morning of seeing what our talented students can do!

Today was Mock Interview Day in our LAUNCH class! I'm grateful for our panel of 12 industry friends who came both in-person and virtually to give each student multiple practice interviews this morning.

As we kick off another round of experiences, we wanted our teams to work through a fun challenge! Teams were given a 100piece puzzle and limited time to get it put together! #teamwork #ExperientialLearning @launch_sde @BEHS_SDE @BCHS_SDE @launch_tosa

Huge Field Trip Today! Our first stop was to the @NCSRCCarpenters CTI facility in Pewaukee. What a great campus visit to see what higher education can look like. 6 students filled out the Apprenticeship Inquiry form!

Today, our Children’s and Young Adult Literature class got the opportunity to oversee a first grade class at Lincoln Elementary School! The kids were in the library and definitely loved having the older kids read to them!

Enjoyed a lively Alumni Panel discussion this morning. A great mixture of Brown Deer and Tosa East alumni came to share their wisdom about a career in the trades with my current students. #NormalizeTradesEducation

Student-Run Trades Fair! The LAUNCH students did a great job showing off their newly acquired skills from the #HalfBathTE to their peers this morning. We're normalizing trades-based education by having students teach it to their peers who visited this morning.
