So good to finally see the Allt Lorgy in person for the first time today!! What an incredible scheme - loads of natural tree regeneration and some very cool dynamic geomorphology. Amazing to see how a river can recover when restored and given the space to flow freely! 🌞 🌲

The volume of PFOS in the Mersey - also a banned forever chemical - is third highest in the world. Studies @LJMU found 50% of PFOS is discharged from wastewater treatment plants - not just in untreated sewage but in treated, supposedly clean, effluent. endsreport.com/toxic
