“Biodiversity net gain” is an ingenious market-based mechanism designed by ⁦@michaelgove⁩ to speed up house building approvals while limiting the harm done to nature. It couldn’t be more “conservative”. I think they may be off their rockers. bbc.co.uk/news/science-e…
