@browningphilip1 @ntnsndr @mbauwens Seems a lot like the "Warm Data" framework when we incorporate thinking about what we're doing in contexts of care, i.e. what are the impacts on the kind of things that we need for basic human flourishing - relationships, environment, social cohesion? Or even future economies.

@AskYatharth I have had zero issues with just turning off the notifications and if I am in a situation where there would be useful notifications I am pretty likely to remember to check it, or I keep badges on but not banners.
Also, you can try cooking and walking

my iPhone notification screen is a mess of spam and promotional notifications
it’s stuff like Uber Eats, Turo, etc, I don’t want to disable all notifications
and unlike Android, i can’t disable just the promotional ones. what do?

@mer__edith In some ways, I think it's less about 'speaking up' and more about seeing where this kind of thinking lives within us, and where we might be participating. Why do people choose violence (physical and psychological) instead of trying other ways? Still risky!
