Yes, but also the diversity shows how good & well-thought out the worldbuilding is. U ppl are just used to lazy stories, where characters don't reflect their environment & situations & where the existence of certain things like disability are ignored bcs it wldn't be "convenient"

Tom Hurndall was murdered on 11th April 2003.
He was carrying Palestinian children (who were frozen from fear) to safety from gunfire. He successfully rescued one but was shot when he went back for the others. He was 21.
