Hopefully this can help kickstart a $HYPE staking meta🤩 Would have been very profitable to Sybil this one up and split your $HYPE into multiple wallets, but that’s a dangerous game to play as you never know exactly where the cutoff will be. It’s also a waste of time if future airdrops are mainly linear. Optimal $HYPE staking allocation per wallet is probably like 200 per wallet. Obviously that’s around $5k per wallet so not realistic for a lot of people but if you’ve got 1000s of $HYPE it’s definitely +EV to split them up. If you’ve got a smaller stack I would probably keep them all in one wallet until you’ve got at least over 100 $HYPE Anyways Hyperliquid

Airdrop Review 2024: Hyperliquid - already wrote about it extensively so not gonna bore everyone but this was the most asymmetric bet in crypto history. I had less than 1k points before spot season started and then went all-in over summer after seeing the results. ROI surpassed everything else on that list combined by more than an order of magnitude. Ethena - one of the best stories of 2024. S1 was extremely profitable (I played it via pendle yts), followed by a very quick TGE as promised. Clear PMF which pretty much dictates rates in the whole defi rn. Wormhole - interoperability farming on easy mode, barely anyone went hard on it coz TGE happened much quicker than anticipated. Multi wallets on this one could have retired your bloodline as it launched during peak mania. Maybe my biggest miss of 2024, didnt extract nearly as much as I should have. Etherfi - the most consistent profitable farm of 2024. Meta went from yts and multi wallet'ing to looping. I played the first part very well but didnt capitalize on looping nearly enough. This is probably still the best way to get consistent eth yield rn (combined with other points like zrc). Usual - most underreported and underappreciated airdrop story of 2024. Fantastic launch timing with skyrocketing funding and btc above 100k. Great PA pre/post TGE. Some questionable decisions with vesting and top wallets, but there are many ppl who bagged 7 figs here. 150% APR on your stables on curve lp, leverage strategies printed millionaires. My second biggest mistake of 2024 (as I mostly faded). Jupiter - super good distribution, virtually everyone got it. Launched at a very nice valuation, for many this was the start of their airdrop journey. Tensor - I started this one very late and still managed to print super nicely. Tensor is pretty controversial coz there was a lot of asymmetry and edge to be had. Those who bought tensorians, were wash trading/aping every slop nft pico top lost most of their capital and airdrop didnt even come close to covering that. Those who were consistent but pretty risk averse printed big big multiples. Very similar to hyperliquid's spot season over summer (but here no bailout by token's PA). Zksync - you either love it or hate it, objectively this was extremely good for defi users who committed liquidity, it was very hard to cheat the system. I didnt capitalize nearly as much as I should have, but thats on me. Manta - peak mania season, was very good early on and for the big accounts. Also pretty sick rewards for testnet, galxe etc iirc. Decent arb plays post TGE. Layerzero - very fair but also very boring. S1 redistribution mechanics totally carried it up the ranks on this list. Renzo - it was still really good if you were early, but not even close to etherfi. Very rocky launch (infamous pie chart) and depeg fiasco made me put it one tier lower than I wanted initially. Pengu - launched at crazy valuation, rewarded a lot of OG ethereum and solana addresses that are completely unrelated to their ecosystem. For multi wallets this was a nice surprise. Cant speak about the nft part but I assume it was INSANELY good. Starknet - this started 2024 airdrop frenzy launching at frankly mental valuation - very very questionable decisions regarding hard 0/1 filtering (ignoring defi/non-eth balance) that really riled up entirety of CT. I was majorly affected by this (had defi positions), but crazy valuation on launch makes this objectively pretty good ON AVERAGE (not for me). Scroll - if you did looping strats like big-size serious farmoooors this was close to amazing. For everyone else this was pretty terrible. Im in the second camp 💀 Odos - very unexpected, quite rewarding for organic multi walleting. Would be higher if not for a pretty low valuation. Eigenlayer - was my main focus of H1 2024 and it was a giant disappointment. This was valued at 20-30B at the start of the year, but market timing and most importantly series of very questionable decisions 1/10th that valuation and postponed TGE by many many months. It turned out that ROI from LRTs like etherfi vastly surpassed the EIGEN leg. The follow-up with AVSs going live also didnt meet everyone's expectations. Ekubo, Debridge, Logx, Orderly, Mode - very meh, but not awful, fortunately none of them was my main focus at any point. --- Overall GREAT year, I think we peaked in q1 in terms of ROI vs effort ratio, space got a lil bit oversaturated towards the end of q2 with zksync/lz launch and then we entered a quiet period that minted loads of new millionaires a few months later (hyperliquid and usual come to mind). Surely 2025 cant be better ? SHARE YOUR BIGGEST WINS THIS YEAR IN THE AIRDROP LAND, im curious if ppl finally managed to make it 🫡

Yeah insane, could have made a lot more money on Starknet but they’re 0.005 requirement caught me out on a few wallets The discrepancy between Wormhole and LayerZero is still the craziest in my opinion Wormhole is largely considered the inferior interoperability solution but launched at a roughly 5x higher FDV Just goes to show that you can’t rely on solely the merits of the project as a farmer and have to highly consider roadmaps/ potential TGE timelines with regards to market conditions

Yeah had higher expectations from Scroll There were so many things they could have done to execute a better airdrop. An easy one would be not to give such a big chunk of the supply to Binance rather than actual users That being said in my opinion Hyperliquid was always the stand out project and I knew it would perform amazingly, but even so I still feel like I didn’t do enough. So don’t beat yourself up too much. When there’s a good airdrop you will still be annoyed you didn’t get more Atm looking forward to Hyperlane, Eclipse, Monad and Berachain as most of these have a similar cult like community to Hyperliquid which was definitely a considerable factor in its success
