The Reserves game at home to @laxfield_fc has been called off due to a frozen pitch❌

A well earned and fought win by the lax. We eventually beat Hope Church FC 3-2 in a thrilling encounter. A place in the next round for the greens. Progressing nicely after a poor first 20 minutes where we found ourselves 2-0 down. Goals came from Sam Balls x1 (pen)+ Jim Balls x2

Special mention to Alfie Payne and Brando with some special moments with the match. A memorable free kick from AP. Absolute tease it was. Brando with a quick turn of pace goes past 4 players and slots it into the bottom corner.

A stunning outside of the box volley hit nothing but the stanchion. The game looked to be over. However a clever beaded flick from #BRANDO saw the JB through on goal. The keeper wipes him out and gives us a free kick on the edge of the area.

We travelled to Needham Market Phoenix FC this weekend in an epic brawl. An eventful game to say the least. It ended 3-3, the lax deserved the win without a doubt. A couple poor decisions that didn’t go our way came to bite us in injury time.
