@profbarrydoyle We thought the same but got itchy after having had Lightening cremated. We have a picture of her, an album of pictures and an urn with her ashes, all prominently displayed. On impulse we went, two weeks later, and got a one-year old Tom called Haru, now Tiger ir Boss.

@LaybournKeith Thanks Keith - I didn't know you'd lost your cat too. It is very difficult when they have been with you so long. Not sure we are ready for another one just yet though!

I’m so sad to say that my beloved, handsome, noisy, grumpy Mr Brodie star of academic zoom and Twitter, died today 😿 He was 16 and 1/2 and had had a very nice life. We will miss him so much.

Productive day! Another 1,200 words written of the never-ending monograph. This time, however, at nearly 6 months pregnant, I had the equally never-ending company of tiny kicks against my bladder, ribs, stomach... it was an unusual day of writing, to say the least. 😂

@DrPatCullum Great! it is also my favourite garden ever since when I was I’ll in 2004. No bowl for me though!

At Holy Trinity Goodramgate we had a very thirsty canine visitor today. Just a reminder that if your dog needs water you are welcome to drop in to our quiet garden.
