AI is consuming energy at a scale the grid wasn't built for. $BTC miners compete for the same power. Post-halving block reward is 3.125 BTC. Fees cover 12-15% of miner revenue. Margins are already compressed. The more AI drives up energy costs, the harder it gets for miners to stay profitable. Miner profitability is network security. That's the incentive structure Bitcoin runs on. At block 885,588, @tap_protocol activated NAT distributions directly into every winning miner's wallet. On top of BTC. No bridge. No L2.
