Ok, so now we are fibremaxxing?

I think the shift is a fresh breath of air, but I am still too cautious to feel this as a permanent one. These voices will likely find another radical to latch onto. When I left a cult, some people did it with me. However, the aftermath has taken very distinct courses. Some went to join other cultish/coercive groups. Some joined radical religious movements, and others went on to establish their own. Still looking forward to see how this unfolds, and hoping more people gets enough distance to question the movement they supported.

Trump devotee Megyn Kelly is now dissing Donald Trump, and that’s significant. Hearing her give it to him after defending so much of his behavior for so many years… I honestly smiled. But this is bigger than just one moment. Megyn Kelly and Joe Rogan are influencers, major voices who helped elect Donald Trump, and now they’re speaking out against him. 🧵 I once dated a girl from an extremely wealthy family in Mexico City. Her family originally came from Spain on a silver mining charter, got rich, and never mixed with the local blood. One day, I asked her if she considered herself Mexican. She said yes. Her family had been in Mexico for hundreds of years, but she acknowledged there was zero indigenous blood in her family tree. Everyone marries within old Spanish lineages; they still own property in Spain, but they identify as Mexican. Once you hit a certain age, its your responsibility to unlearn behaviors that hinder yo growth as a person.
