Here’s my question on this play: We have all these rules for what constitutes a catch: Must make a football move, must survive the ground, must take a third step, etc. In this instance, if the Denver defender didn’t come up with the ball and it ended up the ground instead, it would have pretty clearly been ruled incomplete, not a fumble. Right?

@MichaelRMoats Cheffers and Hussey are two of the worst. Cheffers at least shrivels up when he gets cussed out. Hussey gets all big man tough guy when he gets screamed at.

If you thought the officiating was screwy in the BUF-DEN game, just wait. The head ref in the SF-SEA game is one of the worst.
