In third grade (around 2002) I themed a poetry book around Michael Jackson. My mom showed me “Billie Jean” from Motown 25, and I was a fan from then on. I was definitely trying to model my drawing after “Ghosts.” #MichaelJackson #mjinnocent #throwbackthursday

I like to think that @CodyLeachYT played a large role in the success of @obsessionmovie, at least as far as promotion goes. The horror community is strong, and Leach made this one of my most anticipated of the year 🙌 movie did not disappoint - GO SEE IT!!

I’m not trying to say that others didn’t promote it, but given that Cody operates largely in the horror space, and has praised it several times since before its wide release, I’d say he played a big part!

Absolute bullshit! Blumhouse didn’t even attach themselves to this film until way after its initial festival run and that’s just one of many ways to prove how false this narrative is. People are way too comfortable spreading complete nonsense with zero concern for it taking off.

I read somewhere that Blumhouse got this young kid to act as kind of a "face" for the film while a more experienced director was behind the scenes actually putting the work in. You ever hear of Milli Vanilli? Sort of like that.
