Sabi ko kay Offie before and sa aming mga admins, mas okay na may OFC and GDMs kasi may uuwian ang mga Winners after a very tiring day (if may away). Now, sa almost 2 months natin sa community, nakita ko na may kanya-kanyang bond na nabuo ang mga GDMs. This is beyond shipping already. Naging safe space and pamilya na nila ang isa’t-isa. Masakit makabasa na sabihang “kulto” kami. Please lang. Kapag may issue or hot topic, kulang na lang mag-aaway away na ang mga nasa GDMs ma-explain lang ang mga sides nila pero at the end of the day, hindi nila nakakalimutan ang respeto, agree to disagree, and that we have a bigger goal. To our 9 GDMs, sana alam niyo na we value and treasure all of you. Mahaba pa ang laban. Hindi magiging madali pero kakayanin basta sama sama tayong lahat.

na-mention in the past na medyo tricky at complex kung paano i-organize o i-handle ang winri ship. since day one, heated debate na talaga kung justifiable bang gumawa ng account, kasi sabi ng iba, pwede namang hayaan na lang as is. but i beg to disagree. community organizing spans both physical and virtual spaces. and why is organizing so critical? because it gives us structure and turns our shared values into a more impactful voice. which is also why i’ve always shown support for the admins, even without joining any GDMs myself. pwede tayong mag-okrayan dito 24/7, pero ibang usapan kapag baseless na ang accusations. sobra na. hopeless case na makipag-ceasefire sa mga ganitong account: palagan nang minsan tapos deadmahin na. imbes na panindigan natin ang sinasabi ni sr na nagse-set tayo ng positive energy, naging araw-araw na kanegahan na lang. it beats the purpose. we gotchu, @WinRiOFC. tuloy ang amats para sa bayan. 2028 is just around the corner. kailangan natin magparami, magpalakas, at mas lalong mag-ingay, hindi mag away-away.

But someone sent me this, and I couldn’t keep quiet. This was clearly done in such bad faith. I don’t get what your goal is here anymore.

I stumbled upon this 2011 article about Senator Risa Hontiveros @risahontiveros (she was an Akbayan party-list representative back then) and her journey as a mom while balancing work and family life. It's a great reminder that behind that strong and fearless leader is a loving, caring, and hands-on mother 💜 Such a good read! Makes me admire her more.
