Old McHenry Road from just east of Midlothian Road to US 12 opened this past weekend. The road was closed last week to replace a culvert. Please drive carefully through the area as lane closures may needed to complete landscaping.

This precipitation could accumulate on roads and drop the road temperatures even further. LCDOT is sending out its crew for our first official snow callout of the season!

Update from Snow Command: We are seeing heavy snow throughout the county now with a forecast that’s calling for a possible heavier snow band to set up and move through the county between 5 - 6 p.m., lasting until 9 p.m. tonight.

We went right to work after closing part of Old McHenry Road yesterday. The contractor began with setting up the cofferdams and removing the pavement. The road is scheduled to be reopened no later than Saturday, November 4.
