@daneyka0408 My football watching life mainly consists of arms folded, shaking my head and muttering to myself these days
English

@lcfcian1 Never, and I’d hope you weren’t booing today either
English

@daneyka0408 Gets more appealing every week 😂 And as my theatre guru and only person who still talks to me on twitter I will accept your guidance on booing at the shows half time and full time through force of habit 😅

@lcfcian1 I mean, you’d think losing every home game would be but maybe that’s the final straw
English

@daneyka0408 Hope it's not too early to congratulate you on your impressive win this coming Saturday 😊
English

@daneyka0408 I'm afraid letting Reid score is a sackable offence for any manager
English

@daneyka0408 Sadly not, I'm already done with seeing half this team 🤣
English

@daneyka0408 I'm glad he will get to see your team in person unlike some people 😶
English

@lcfcian1 Guaranteed to score then 😂well he definitely hasn’t seen us play…
English

@daneyka0408 Daka does have 1 goal in his last 50 games for us so our attacking threat is pretty solid 😬 And our ever brilliant manager says you're a good team with quality players 🫡
English

@lcfcian1 I would bet you’re better to watch than us 😂that might not be saying much though…

Milan Mandaric, a wonderful eccentric 87-year-old, young at heart and soul man, has sadly died this week.
Milan was a man I admired, liked hugely, worked for and with, and came across when our professional connection ended. He had a boyish and never-ending youthful outlook on football, and insatiable impatience for success and satisfaction... his love of being included in conversations about absolutely everything or anything, his love of winning, doing a deal, arguing a case, being valued and loved. He gave me an opportunity, when many wouldn't.
The 2008/09 season, when we were promoted as champions, back to the Championship, the fun we had, the friendships we made, the lasting football connections made and developed, is still without doubt my favourite season of my long career.
Goodbye, dear Milan...you were a singular force I couldn’t help loving, even when I didn't want to... but let me tell everyone, he taught me how to never be satisfied, to strive for better even when you think the ceiling was reached. He could always make me smile, even when I was furious with his unreasonable demands. I'm smiling now while writing this...
So long, Columbo xx
