New to X! Writing about all things LCFC for LWOS (Last Word on Sports). Match reports, transfer news and anything City related. Unbiased. Factual. Humble.

The last thing our club needs right now is infighting between the fan base 😔
The clubs in dire straits atm & us guys squabbling against each other won’t help! In situations like this, I’ve always found it best to come together on what we all do agree on-which is the club can’t continue operating in the way it is, if it does I can’t see it being in existence for much longer 😞.
We’re divided because there’s a split with the thinking how that will be best achieved. My thoughts haven’t changed in the fact I think new ownership is the best option to guide us in a new direction with fresh ideas, energy, enthusiasm and away from this incredible multilayered mess we find ourselves in.
However, all I want is the club to be stable and an enjoyable place to experience again, (doesn’t have to be titles & trophies, although that’d be nice!) players, managers & coaches that are proud to represent our club 🙌🏾🦊! With leadership that is consistent, strong and has a clear vision for the future, that we can all buy into.
I am incredibly thankful and full of gratitude for what King Power have done for our club over the years, Vichai delivered those qualities I’ve spoken about above and Top doesn’t seem to possess the same high level of leadership needed to deliver similar results.
Which is understandable, Vichai and leaders of that calibre are rarities, hence the reason they can build global businesses or deliver Premier League titles to football clubs like ours. But Top needs to put his Ego to the side and accept he’s not his father (which is totally okay 💙) and surround himself with people who possess the skills he lacks.
If he can do that, which is a huge ‘if’ I for one will be happy for the King Power group to remain and try and turn this dreadful situation around. I’m a very emotional guy (and can often lose my head on the radio), but I didn’t mean any disrespect or ungratefulness towards King Power after the last game at the KP. I love the club from when I was a little kid, it means everything to me, like it does for so many of the LCFC fan base and when it feels it could be slipping-not just down the leagues but out of existence- we have to fight for it and protect it 👊🏾
But please people, not against each other 💙. We should be united as a fanbase and use that power of togetherness to influence the changes that will help our club thrive again! I don’t think we need to be divided about ‘Who?’ can deliver us that, more the ‘How!’ All I know is, we need action from the club and it needs to be quickly because not doing anything will only make things much worse!
So Khun Top, If you’re keeping it, it’s time to show strength in your leadership and either lead now or delegate to others with the wisdom, experience and enthusiasm to move us past this mess, inaction at this point is just NOT an option!
Personally, I’d like to see a small carefully selected fan group of well ‘balanced’ individuals that have the ‘Clubs’ best interest at heart (people who don’t just argue for arguments sake or boo/hiss at opposing views), empathetic, respectful, but also tough characters that will hold the club to account if /when needed, who work with the club at the highest level to bring about change in a positive way. I really like the 50+1 rule the Bundesliga operates with its clubs in Germany!
Anyway, I’m ranting now, which I didn’t want to do 😩 All I know is, I love the club and I don’t want to just sit back and see it slide out of existence. 💙

@coolasleicester Love this place. Also looking forward to revisiting The Terrace in town which is reopening for some events in December

There’s new life for The Aberdale on Shackerdale Road as it’s reopened with a brand new look and brand new team behind it.
AND in the kitchen it’s the same people from The Broadway with a very similar menu!
A great spot for watching live sport with plenty of screens and another desi pub to add to Leicester’s growing selection.

@ChrisLCFC1884 @LCFCshitposting You don’t know what you got until it’s gone. Fans were happy to see a player or two leave not realising the impact it would have on the team.
English

@LCFCshitposting Arguably lost 3 of our top 5 players from last 2 seasons.
English

Our squad is significantly weaker now than when the season ended. We've lost 4 starters from our last 2 seasons so far
Vardy
Hermansen
Ndidi
Justin
What's the plan here?

Leeds United are in advanced talks with Leicester City to sign defender James Justin.🦊 🤝 @alex_crook

@LCFC No fluidity
Slow transitions.
Lack of pace throughout.
Exposed badly at left back.
Defenders too slow, poor reading.
Midfield too easily shoved off the ball.
A lack of movement from the strikers.
Greedy ball hogging.
Dreadful crossing.
Amateur set pieces.
Thats just the start!
English

@_mattpiper Will miss his dominance in midfield. General with an engine and massive heart.

Just threw this out on Insta about big Wilf 🙌🏾 Thanks for all the memories bro & good luck with your new club!! 👊🏾💙
#NdidiGoalkick 🤣
If you know you know 🤪

@JasonBourne1986 As with many things in life, you don’t know what you’ve got til it’s gone. Provided reassurance and reliability in our midfield. Will be massively missed. Not just a great footballer but a true gentleman. Humble and loyal. Our fans will not be able to truly appreciate this.

Thread 🧵
What a player Wilfred Ndidi was in his early years at Leicester. I remember @MattElliott01 regularly describing his “Go go Gadget” legs on the radio after breaking up opposition attacks. He was one of the best in that role. And seemingly courted by bigger clubs then.
