@wimgtr @shochdoerfer I'm not updated on the latest releases and usually do this kind of advicing via GH sponsor (one-off sponsorship), though.
Let me know if you'd like to book something 👍

@wimgtr @shochdoerfer I see! I believe I have got enough experience in its design and have knowledge in software architecture to help you out. I've implemented it in a big project a few years ago and it was really helpful. It does have some peculiarities.

Are there any Kafka wizards in my network ? I'm in need of some (paid) advice from someone with actual experience with it (who will not try to sell it to me though) #Kafka

Resposta honesta: eu tenho buscado me desafiar nesse sentido há 3 anos.

@another_clue @WyriHaximus @reactphp I think only after merging it and benchmarking using a proper env we'd be able to have a real sense of the impact.
English

@another_clue @WyriHaximus @reactphp To me, the benchmark is only an interesting way to track the evolution of the components.
I remember(-ish) the latency after the changes, not before (sorry). `ab -n 20k -c 100 -k` on /db gave me a mean time per request of ~45ms (Linux laptop with 12 cores).
English

@another_clue @WyriHaximus @reactphp The simple fact that we're not blocking the whole process with queries anymore considerably increases the overall throughput.
My expectation is to have @reactphp MUCH higher in the PHP list (#section=data-r22&hw=ph&test=composite&l=zik073-cn3" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">techempower.com/benchmarks/#se…).
English

@lcobucci @WyriHaximus Interesting update! What kind of performance improvement are you seeing with your changes applied? Also happy to help if there's anything we can help with @ReactPHP 👍
English

@WyriHaximus Happy to help out... We should put your fancy threaded implementation there too
English

@lcobucci Seen it pass a few times, didn't get around fixing it. Thanks for putting the effort in 👍

Kent Beck indirectly explains why Infrastructure / Domain / Application NAMESPACES are a terrible idea and always have been.

@faguo @SecondeJ You can still use the file path if that makes easier for you, though: #initialisation" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">lcobucci-jwt.readthedocs.io/en/stable/conf…

@yourwebmaker @DaveLiddament Naaaaah, these days I'm just background noise 🤣

@lcobucci @DaveLiddament You rule the architecture of OS projects. Heheh

PHP's ecosystem is amazing. With tools like #phpstan you can create new language features.
The #[NamespaceVisibility] attribute limits the visibility of the method to code in the same namespace.

@yourwebmaker @DaveLiddament Yeap, @DaveLiddament followed up on my half-made proposal and evolved into these great improvements
English

@DaveLiddament @lcobucci I remember you were looking for something similar a long time ago.
