Well well well, David Lammy. The Court of Appeal will review these sentences. These victims have shown tremendous courage and it is right sentences can be reviewed. Oh darling. How very convenient. You post this pious little tweet as if youve suddenly grown a conscience, while the justice system you oversee continues to hand out pathetic sentences to rapists and violent thugs. You didnt suddenly find your voice, David. You saw the public outrage and decided a quick, empty tweet might make you look like you actually care. Spare us the performance. This isnt leadership. Its damage control dressed up as principle. And everyone can see straight through it. You are finished. The British people have had enough of your hollow words.

Trades Union Congress
Reform-led Durham council cut off funding to the annual Pride celebrations. So trade unions launched a fundraiser to save it, eventually raising more money than was cut. Which means this year's Pride will be bigger than ever. In the 1980s, the LGBT+ community raised thousands of pounds to help striking miners and their families. When we stick up for each other, we can achieve anything.

Stephen Morgan, you’re embarrassing yourself. You post about slashing VAT on theme parks, cinemas and kids’ meals so families can “enjoy the things that make life worth living.” Let’s be honest. You’re offering people £1.50–£2 off a £200 day out while your government is racking up hundreds of billions in debt and taxing working families into the ground. This isn’t helping families. This is pathetic spin. A desperate attempt to distract from the fact that under Labour, life is getting more expensive, not cheaper. You’re not making life worth living. You’re just making the decline slightly less noticeable for one afternoon. Pathetic.

We want families to enjoy the things that make life worth living. That’s why the Chancellor has slashed VAT on summer attractions so that families can enjoy cheaper prices at…. 🎢 Theme parks, museums and soft play 🍿 Cinema and theatre tickets 🍽️ Children’s restaurant meals 🚌 Free bus travel across England for kids between the ages of 5 and 15

Big tech's behaviour has been akin to big tobacco, introducing an addictive and harmful product whilst avoiding regulation. We’ve got to give our children their childhood back, and that starts with a social media ban for under-16s.

Two Africans wearing ‘hi-vis’ vests, dressed like it’s winter in the middle of a heatwave, started intimidating and abusing a young lady, demanding she leave the station. They had no ID, they could literally be anyone. Is this the type of people you employ, @MorsonGroup?

EVERY weather station, both rural & urban, in Yorkshire & Lincolnshire, set a new May temperature record yesterday. Unprecedented. For the climate sceptics out there, the game is up. Go and bore someone else with your nonsense.

🚨 Barking & Dagenham Council now has more than £1.5 BILLION of debt. Even worse, the figure is expected to rise even further. It’s a recipe for disaster because debt on this scale does not just sit quietly in the background. The more councils borrow: ❌ More spent on interest payments ❌ Less money for frontline services ❌ Higher Council Tax Residents are constantly told there is no money left. Maybe people are starting to ask where all the money is actually going.

I'm at the Ministry of Injustice and Jokes in London. Henry Nowak was stabbed 5 times with 8 inch blade and his alleged attacker's charges are potentially being downgraded from "murder" to "manslaughter"!!! This is unconscionable and the perfect example of two-tier justice.

Congrats to the duplicitous Andy Burnham on making a success of being a landlord ( what would his lefty mates say? ) having bought a 2-bedroomed flat in London 20 years ago , seeing it double in value to £500K and now being rented out for a handy £3K-3.5K. Where Burnham was fortunate and other landlords weren’t, is that for years the interest on his mortgage was paid through his expenses because he was an MP. But he took an even bigger advantage by renting out his place in Kennington and instead rented a place nearby and sent the whole bill to the taxpayer. That’s now illegal but basically he took advantage of an Xs racket in Parliament making him, in my view, unsuitable to be an MP. He’s a creep and he wants to bring that thought process to Downing Street. The more you hear of Burnham the more you know the good people of Makerfield won’t be voting for him.
