The moment they decided to jump into NATO, suddenly it’s one problem after another.
It’s almost like they willingly traded independence for a front-row seat to geopolitical chaos.

The way to end this war is to confront Moscow, not reward it. Not to loosen sanctions, but to harden them.
The 20th sanctions package is ready to go. We will tighten the net further, especially around Russia’s shadow fleet. And we must also deliver the €90-billion-loan.

@MichaelAArouet Iran is probably the worst terror threat the world has ever seen, affecting Europe as well as many other countries. But Europe prefers to let the US and Israel do the dirty work while being obstructive.
If Europe wanted the US to leave Nato, I couldn’t think of a better way.

NATO is finished,and frankly, it should have been a long time ago. Once the Soviet Union collapsed and the Warsaw Pact disappeared, its entire purpose evaporated. Keeping it alive after that wasn’t strategy, it was inertia.
At that point, NATO stopped being relevant and started being obsolete,just a Cold War relic dragging itself through a world that had already moved on.

While generally the various ethnic groups in Transcarpathia get along well, the Ukrainian government treats the minorities badly, stripping them of their language rights.
