@AdamWylde I knows it’s already out there, but if it’s in person it’s always specified in the announcement. So “have a hearing” is 5 or less by phone “have an in-person hearing” is potential for 5+

@Grunt2A @TheFourthPeriod They still have better odds because they can a second chance if Ottawa wins, but I think the idea is that it keeps th draw the same as it’s been for years.

@Grunt2A @TheFourthPeriod Let’s say there’s 100 balls. If Ottawa has 5 they have a 5% chance to win. Let’s say the top team has 20 balls they have a 20% chance. Now you take out Ottawa’s 10 there are 90 balls. Now the team with 20 balls has a 22%. If Ottawa wins, they redraw with the same odds.

The NHL has announced a change in the #GoSensGo penalty for the Dadonov/Vegas trade. Instead of forfeiting of their 2026 first round pick, they will instead pick 32nd overall. They cannot trade the pick and will also pay a fine of $1M CDN.

@TheFourthPeriod Why wouldn't they just not put them in the lottery in the first place? Is the league hoping they win the lottery so they can say "See! Look what you lost!"
