Sam Girard appreciation post. We were coming off of the worst season in franchise history when we got G. From that moment on we were a perennial playoff team. G was a huge part of that and a big reason for our success. G went through personal issues in the public eye and came back a better man. @c_burakovsky only like government businesses close for federal holidays. like banks, schools, etc. everyone else has to work unless it’s a major holiday like christmas/ thanksgiving. places close early on those days or don’t open

question for my american moots - how do national/federal holidays work over there?? like if it’s a holiday, aren’t companies supposed to give people the day off or at least some kind of compensation for working on that day?
