While being held in the courthouse booking area, a handcuffed suspect kicked another detainee and attempted to spit on him, instead hitting a police officer. Five individuals, ages 17 to 20, were arrested.

One woman claimed to be the little girl's mother and commented on a post of the incident, “We took our daughter to the ER she has substantial injuries. 10 deep punctures. I’m working with police. The dog needs to be put down, the owner needs to be brought to justice.”
