Trying not to panic about the NQN crisis. Sent 4 applications this past month, only 1 response (unsuccessful, likely the spot was filled before advertising). I qualify in September and keep telling myself a job will come. I hope I'm right.

Preparing my CV as I'm starting to job search. When listing employment history, should I include as far back as 18 years ago since starting work at 18, or focus on the more recent roles? Most of the earlier years are in similar fields.

Next week Maddie start’s nursery, as much as I’m looking forward to going back to work not sure how I’m feeling about leaving her or paying the crazy fees!

As I’m back at work in a few weeks I might start using this account again…all I can say is maternity leave has been stressful!!!

One part of my job I’ll always find frustrating is having to send people in to hospital who aren’t acutely unwell just because it’s not safe for them at home alone and there’s literally no services available to safety net them! Things need to change!

Two months today I’ll have finished my final shift for maternity leave…terrifying how quick this is going! 🤰

I would never normally complain about the nhs, I completely understand how overworked and stretched everywhere is but the maternity care I have received so far has been beyond shocking! And todays midwife just topped that off 🤦🏻‍♀️

13 weeks until maternity leave starts…can’t come any quicker! 👶 🍼

When you realise you’re going to have a child in 4 months so need to finally grow up and buy a sensible car 🚘 🤦🏻‍♀️

Pregnancy hormones and a full day of palliative care visits is not good for the emotions! 😢

Pregnancy, working full time and trying to maintain some kind of life is exhausting!!! 😴
