Eraković and Veljković haven’t exactly impressed this season, but without Milosavljević, current options are limited. Avdić’s time is coming. Midfielders: B+. There’s still some deadweight, like N. Maksimović and Petrović. But Stanković, Lukić, Sergej, Lazar, Stanić and of course Kostov form a strong new core. Only A. Maksimović remains to be added in the near future, and hopefully one more quality defensive midfielder. Wingers: C-. Birmančević is the only one worth anything there. Kostić is past it. Gaćinović is not it. Živković will return next time. Could be worth trying Samardžić in a false wide role. I would've tried Cvetković on the left. Missed opportunity IMO. Attackers: C. Ratkov hasn’t really earned a call on form this time. Joveljić deserves a call, but I don’t think he adds much to the NT. Mitrović’s time should be coming to an end. Vlahović is injured. I would’ve called Ivanović and Ilić myself.
