Great to be working with the PTs of @braidhurst today. We'll be reflecting back on the impact their 'Plus One' work has had over the last eighteen months. What's been achieved, and how? Then we'll also be looking forward to some potential high leverage new 'plus one' areas....

With @official_DHS PTs this afternoon to plan our 'Plus One' Learning Cycles CLPL programme for next session. V excited to get started with the school, having worked with @StDavidsHS on the same programme a couple of years ago!

I went to the same nursery school as Wes Streeting and grew up on the housing estate opposite his. Here is a little thread on what the East End was like at that time. Take it as the East End equivalent of those Johnson / Cameron era Old Etonians explaining what Pop was like.

Good to be back with @mgsonline for their 'Plus One' celebration event this morning. I'm really looking forward to listening to the impact of teams' 'plus ones' have had on the learning and progress of young people.

Couple of other random thoughts. The Ocean estate had about 20-30 tower blocks. They all had names with some kind of maritime or nautical theme, but often the link was not obvious. In the pre-internet era me and my dad used to rack our brains about some of the links. He'd lived in Riga House - Riga is more famous for being the capital of Latvia, but it is also a gulf. Anson House was another one we had friends in. Was it named after the 18th century admiral or the archipelago named after him? Does it even matter?

Final day with @PrestonLodgeHS PTs today. We'll be exploring on strategies & design approaches for CLPL that actually impacts on learning.

Back with @LinwoodHigh PTs today for our 'Plus One Learning Cycles' celebration event. They'll be sharing the impact on learning of their teams' classes, identifying opportunities to transfer teaching strategies, and we'll be unpicking the process underpinning the programme...

Final session with @SouthLanCouncil Deputes today. We'll be drawing together the key strands from previous sessions, and unpacking the design of CLPL sessions to ensure there is sufficient depth of dialogue to support teacher development on the ground.

Great to be back with @BalfronHighS for my annual visit as we prepare for 'Plus One' Learning Cycles work to kick off in August. I'll be discussing strategies to support the process, in order to maximise impact on learning of YP.

Ending the week with the HTs/Deputes & PTs of primary schools in Cambuslang to plan next session's 'Plus One Learning Cycles' programme. Really excited by the opportunity to work with a community of possibilities...
