Barrenjoey High's wonderful tradition of the Lighthouse Walk has started for another cohort of Year 7 students. A wonderful day with students, staff, parents and peer leaders! This group will retrace their steps to end yr12 with a final dawn walk in 2028. @AStevenson_DEL

Barrenjoey High has brought back Houses! After a few years' hiatus, student voice asked for a return to the friendly rivalry of houses. Our teacher House Patrons gave a rousing start to the year. We are excited to get students engaged and involved in house and school spirit!

Year 9 Elective History from Barrenjoey had hands on experience and discussion with archaeologists at the Chau Chak Wing Museum at University of Sydney. Great to hear real world practitioners pushing our students to think critically and ask questions.

Big Day Out for Yr9 HSIE students! While Geography students completed a field work study of Barangaroo, History students spent time at the local war memorial at Avalon with veterans and were visited by Anzac Memorial presenters. So much to absorb!

Congratulations to Barrenjoey Year 10 students after a big week of exams. Exam practice is so important to give students opportunities to learn how to study and manage exam anxiety before the HSC. We are very proud of how these students conducted themselves.
