@ONTSpecialNeeds I use her lessons in grade 3. Hands on and immersive. Kids are engaged. Low floor high ceiling tasks means you can meet students anywhere on the math continuum. Pairs well with thinking classrooms. @joboaler @pgliljedahl

Has anyone read this? Thoughts?

@offgridteacher I sit down and play with them. Try to get to all groups over a couple of days. You can gauge their thinking and understanding and they never know when you’ll join so they stay on task. I am all in when I play so it’s fun too!

For primary teachers who use math centers, apparently I need to have more accountability and things like exit tickets during the games portion... which sort of defeats the idea of a game. How do you introduce accountability to hands-on/games based math centers?
