THE REBUILD.
To rebuild a program takes someone willing to sacrifice time — and most importantly, patience. This season has had its ups and downs on and off the court, but I accepted the challenge knowing it would not be easy.
Being selected Coach of the Year is truly an honor, and it’s a testament to our entire program. Awards like this are never earned alone. You don’t receive an honor like this without dedicated players and an amazing assistant coach who believe in the vision and put in the work every single day.
I would like to thank BH for giving me the opportunity. Ruthanne and JR, you have gone above and beyond to pour into this group — your commitment has meant everything. I would also like to thank Dr. Greg Hodges for entrusting me to lead the Lady Pats.
Most importantly, I want to thank my Lena P and Lizze for sacrificing their time so I can do what I love. Without a supportive family, this would be impossible. Your patience, love, and understanding mean more than you know. ❤️
To our campus and community — the foundation has been laid, the culture is in place, and we have proven that we can compete. But we’re not finished.
The rebuild is real. The standard has been set. And this is only the beginning.
