I’m just not having any Utd fans opinion on Salah. He’d be their top scorer of all time. That automatically would put him in their top 3 ever, just as the top scorer of all time at any club is.

@psixaba Loved those rapid, ‘top of off’, knip-backers he was bowling.

Possibly the best result of this New Zealand series is Gerald Coetzee getting through it unscathed.

Good series win from Proteas 3rds. We’re only properly good in 2 games.

As an Egyptian Liverpool fan, Salah is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. He made a whole country fall in love with Liverpool, I can go anywhere and find their games on, after years of La Liga dominating here. I’ve never been to Liverpool, but Egyptians who have say the Scousers show them so much love and appreciation just for being from the same country. Salah has built a real, lasting connection between Liverpool and Egypt. 🇪🇬🔴

There are the goals, the assists and the lengthy ‘only Mohamed Salah’ records. There are the trophies, the ending of long waits, and the individual honours. The one-season wonder doing it over and over and over again. 374 direct goal involvements in 435 games. There’s the symbolism of the ‘Never Give Up’ t-shirt, the top off ‘now you’re gonna believe us’ celebration against Manchester United, *those* moments in the tensest of battles against Manchester City, a hat-trick at Old Trafford, the collective heartache when he was forced off in tears in Kiev, the shared euphoria during that selfie celebration in the title-clinching win over Tottenham… That doesn’t even scratch the surface of what he’s done, what he’s given, what he means to millions around the world. It can’t fit into a post, so thankfully I have the space of a whole book. One of the very best there is, there ever was, and there ever will be.
