learning a language is also a matter of how much effort you put into it but it's harder if you have less opportunities in school and have to rely more on personal motivation

didn't realise sandra actually is from former gdr i thought there's no way bc her english is so good. and in the gdr they taught barely any english in school and afterwards there were no teachers of course, so many ppl who grew up there then never learned it properly
