i think we all had the same thought: “Here we go again.”

if you don’t agree with this, that’s your choice, but i honestly don’t care to debate it. i’ve said what i wanted to say and that’s all.

whether he releases a statement or not people will always find a reason to hate him. those who just want to spread negativity will keep doing it no matter what happens because they’re never truly looking for an explanation, they’ve already made up their minds

seriously open your eyes, this level of outrage is becoming ridiculous. educate people if necessary, hold them accountable if needed but stop acting as if making a mistake automatically makes someone a terrible person

but trying to destroy someone’s character over a mistake isn’t helping anyone,, at some point people need to stop assuming the worst immediately and start giving others the chance to learn and do better +

some of you are acting as if everyone is supposed to know every single piece of history and information that exists but be realistic for a second; people don’t know everything and that’s ok. if someone is unaware of the meaning behind something, educate them, explain the history+

I understand why some people are angry, why some can’t forgive him, and why they want to hold him accountable. Those feelings are entirely valid. What I cannot understand is how this has been blown so far out of proportion. People are spreading misinformation and weaponizing unrelated incidents to portray him as someone he isn’t. If you want to criticize what happened, focus on what actually happened. Don’t use one mistake to erase a decade of his kindness, sincerity, and hard work. And before judging someone’s entire character, ask yourself whether one mistake is really enough to define a person.

It’s frustratingly clear that NCTzens and K-pop fans hold Mark to a massive double standard.
