🐰: since im not in SM, and i work alone for the company, you need to check on various things, whenever the album comes out, you know
🐰: i continuously have the pattern of preparing for another album while i’m still promoting for the current album, so i feel like i’m gradually getting spent
🥃: ah ofc that ain’t easy
🐰: at some point, i was like, “is it even right i gave an okay on this?,” “how should i convey this?,” “should we collab to come up with whatever ideas?,” “so is that idea the right way to go?” — these doubts keeps on gradually rising
🥃: i’m also a workaholic, so i can’t rest. i even thought i should at least take a break last year, but i cant. not even this year coz it’s already set in stone at this point that i cant rest. it’s no joke
🥃: that’s why even jongshin hyung just suddenly disappeared once — what project was it? he was doing “monthly jongshin,” and he just disappeared out of the blue
🥃: so i think you need that kind of courage. i think it’s important to create a space where you can take a breather and pick yourself up with some hobby
🐰: that’s why what i’m trying on these days is taking vocal lessons once again. as i was a thinking of way to develop myself, i’m also trying on guitar lessons once in a while…
🥃: learning instruments is definitely a good one
🐰: i think my self-esteem has slightly dipped. because in the past, i’m like, “ah, i’m SHINee!” and just going wildly being so good in making laughs & chats
🐰: but this time, i thought i need to be little more serious than that now, that i have no room for mistakes, and i keep feeling like im in a sort of void, so i cant take on challenges too well

🐰: yes i think i keep on feeling that
🥃: you’re good in filling your gaps tho? you dont choose between “should i stop? should i fire up some more?” but instead, “ah! i should invest in myself more!”
🥃: things like learning stuff like “should i at least learn some musical instruments?” your self-esteem gets filled up the most when you want to learn something & achieve it, you know. there’s this kind of challenge you know, like the squat challenge, or the simplest one, push-up challenge — you’re guaranteed to improve from that. so once you’ve completed it, you give yourself a reward. there’s that
🥃: i think it’s the best way that your self-esteem fill up! als, you should have someone to openly talk to, someone tangible, a person next to you~
🐰: even when i’m like this with you, hyungs, but i can converse well
👓: do you have a confidante?
🐰: could be my mother~
🥃: ah sorry but you have to veer away from doing that. opening up to a mom is like a part of the society. if you consider her as your confidante, that wont work
👓: when you make your mom your confidante, wouldn’t you be not 100% upfront to them? is that your case?
🐰: hmm i don’t think i can do it 100% to her
👓: because i think you having someone like her can be necessary

🥃: of course you can if you want to!
🐰: but since i don’t even know how to do it
🥃: that’s one good thing about being “ONEW,” because if ordinary people does it, it wont do — ONEW CAN
🥃: people in the music industry surely wants to work musically with ONEW
🥃: well then reach out first to an artist or musician you like, and while you’re collaborating then your personality & ideals match in the midst of that — that’s how it works!
