@KeswickFC Keswick should have a 4g pitch we need one seniors and Juniors would benefit from one through winter for training aswel as days like today.

Well we tried after pitch inspection at Fitz Park and now at Eden St, both pitches have failed and the Senior cup QF is OFF 🔴⚫️⚽️🥶

@TrenchTrotter Hi Tim would know anything about 8th battalion border regiment been the battle of Regina trench? I've read that they were involved our relative was buried behind the trenchs and is one the 1000s missing he's on Thiepval memorial but I know that there is some border regiment grave

I posted yesterday about the “official” end date of the 1916 Somme offensive. I said, of course the killing didn’t stop. OTD in 1916 J. R. Thurlow was killed. Serving with the 18th Division & killed between Regina & Desire Trenches. Now buried in Regina Trench Cemetery.

The venue was Donington, known as Castle Donington, a town that host one of the best live shows on the 17th of August, 1991. AC/DC took the stage for such an awesome performance of a track they called "Thunderstruck". The massive crowd, amazing atmosphere, and that intro of 'Thunderstruck' and everything else is just pure rock and roll. #ACDC

💔UPDATE💔🐿️ It’s with great sadness to reveal that the healthy population of red squirrels at Rutter Falls near Appleby have been wiped out by the pox greys carry and spread 😭😢 I was informed this afternoon #nature #redsquirrel I’m devastated for Jim who lives there and needless to say the reds. I can’t believe how quickly the reds have been wiped out. @_Rob_B Mctominey plays on the periphery of the game. He doesn't get on the ball enough to affect the game so spends more time chasing players etc. He'd be much better but needs 6 top players around him

I would drop Marcus Rashford and Scott McTominay for the visit of Chelsea to Old Trafford. Rashford's #MUFC performance levels deserve some time on the bench. McTominay's lack of technique on the ball is killing the midfield. Erik ten Hag needs to let go of some of his risk-and-reward strategies and start with a solid base. It's time to bring Raphael Varane back in and try a double-pivot of Kobbie Mainoo and Sofyan Amrabat. 4231, reinforce the central core and play from that point. Shaw back to LB, Antony back to RW to work the press, Hojlund point of the attack with Bruno as the 10, not as an 8. A tricky few days for ETH to prepare for a crucial game. #MUNCHE #NEWMUN

@TrenchTrotter There's some Borders regiment graves in this cemetery all unknown my great great uncle was in the 8th battalion border regiment which took part in the battle for Regina trench his body was buried behind trenches hes names on Thiepval which i got to and see in August.

Making my way to the Somme tomorrow. Hope to take group to Regina Trench. Weather and ground conditions permitting. I don’t think I will have these conditions though? Once in a lifetime.
