I had dinner once with a top physicist and a top computer scientist and asked what they thought the probability was that we were in a simulation. They answered simultaneously at 0% and 100% respectively. It was like a double-slit experiment, but with humans.

Turned 33 yesterday. Another year older, another year of learning what really matters. Life doesn’t slow down for birthdays, work still shows up, responsibilities still need handling, and people are busy living their own lives. That’s just part of getting older, and I’m okay with that. What I’m grateful for is the solid stuff. A wife who sees me, supports me, and reminds me that I’m loved. Family who shows up in real ways. The kind of people who don’t need a social media reminder to matter. This year has been about growth, perspective, and continuing to become a better man than I was the year before. Looking forward to celebrating over the next few days and stepping into 33 with appreciation, humility, and intention. Here’s to another year of showing up, doing the work, and becoming who I’m meant to be.
