Once again, I'd like to thank Governor Bill Lee for his endorsement. Governor Lee has been a steadfast conservative leader for Tennessee, and I'm grateful for his confidence and support. Look at the real 2026 data: #4 on U-Haul’s Growth Index - Families are packing up and moving here at one of the highest rates in America. #2 for Economic Outlook - ALEC ranks us second nationwide for our pro-growth economic policies. #1 Least Debt per Capita - We rank first for the lowest debt burden per resident. We live within our means. #1 Income Tax Environment - The Tax Foundation ranks our individual tax climate at the top because we let you keep what you earn. #4 Best State for Business - Area Development ranks us a top-5 destination for investment, infrastructure, and state cooperation. If balancing the budget, keeping taxes low, and creating a booming economy makes us the "worst" in their eyes, we will wear that badge with pride. People don't flee thriving states to move to "bad" ones. They are coming to TN because our conservative formula works.

Speaker @CSexton25 and @VoteMarsha are right. Nashville’s proposed $735K grant for TIRRC deserves close scrutiny for possible conflict with Tennessee’s no-sanctuary-cities law. Taxpayer dollars should not be used to undermine state policy. Transparency matters.

Great to join neighbors on the Square yesterday for the topping off ceremony for Franklin‘s new City Hall. Proud to add my name to the final beam before it is installed. It’s a meaningful milestone for a project that will serve our community for generations.

Big day for Fairview. Today, members of the Fairview City Commission, Mayor Lisa Anderson, Fairview Economic Development Director Patti Carroll, and residents from across the community came to Nashville to support proposals by Ascension Saint Thomas and TriStar to bring freestanding emergency rooms to Fairview. I was honored to address the TN Health Facilities Commission at the beginning of the hearing to express my support for expanded emergency medical services in western Williamson County. Several Fairview residents also stopped by my legislative office, and community supporters spoke passionately during the hearing process. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Commission voted 8-0 in favor of both applications. This is a major step forward for Fairview, which has long needed expanded emergency medical services - and now they are coming. Thank you to everyone who showed up, spoke out, and helped make the case for Fairview’s future.
