With dual fan air seeders, why does urea require more fan rpm than the seed/starter fan. Even if both runs have the same lbs per acre going through them, the urea always requires at least 200 more rpm (on our John Deeres) Its a non issue, but just curious if anyone knows why.

@CR9090JK Boom. I hadnt even thought to Google it. Was kind of my inclination but seemed counterintuitive since urea is so light one would figure it would flow easier.

Chickpeas are somewhere around 140 days old now and almost waist high. Has 6-8” of green flowering top growth with not a lot of pods so these may get nuked soon before Mother Nature makes it impossible. Suprisingly there’s good colour change occurring just under this top jungle.

Chickpeas are finally ripe and we're back in the saddle after a 3 week hiatus from harvesting.

Does anyone have the large diameter pea auger from a 740fd or RD40f laying around that they would like to sell? The 640fd had the smaller diameter pea augers, and im not looking for those.
