Current discussion about housing. It is interesting to hear challenges of a home rule state like Missouri where building codes etc are different jurisdiction to jurisdiction vs a Dillon’s rule state like NC where building codes are similar statewide #ICVLC25

Enjoying 1st session of @raleighchamber visit to Kansas City. 1st panel talked about collab with 5 counties and about 30 munis. The @CentralPinesNC region is 7 counties and over 50 munis. Proud of the collaboration in our region over a much larger area. #ICVLC25

Absolutely heartbroken to hear of the tragic loss of three law enforcement officers and the injury of five others in the Charlotte region. My thoughts and prayers go out to the officers, their families, and everyone affected by this devastating event.

Very proud of our @TJCOGnc staff for helping secure close to $500,000 in grants for 3 of our local govt members. Happy for the towns of Carthage, Vass, and Cameron. Incredibly excited for the small town of Cameron, which will receive $400,000!!! Thanks, @NCCommerce!

The ⁦@TJCOGnc⁩ transportation demand mgt program took on the challenge to be more inclusive and equitable in funding grant opps. A year later we are hearing from 4 agencies who received equity funding. For some, this is their very first grant funding opportunity! Congrats!
