I think the program “prestige” as a whole is overrated. The connections you make there are the most important parts

@DarkoStateNews @knowyourplace19 @squeaky1149 I think others who didn’t attend can chime in , they just need to be realistic about their comments. I’m a UM fan( went to EMU). MSU is a good school ( some programs >> others, dairy program, supply chain, some teaching) UM pretty elite business and engineering.

Michigans acceptance rate is on par with HARVARD and they can’t compete with D1 schools competitively. Michigan is able to accept the same level of student and still excel at the same level as Alabama or OSU

I’m glad he’s gone. Everyone gushes over Yaxel. I thought Mara was the MVP of that team. He was totally inside teams’ heads with the rim protection. Tarris Reed Jr. came into the final averaging 21 PPG on ≈ 60% FG in the tourney. Mara had the poor guy air-balling layups.

People can and should root for whichever school they choose. The one caveat I’d add to this is that being an alumni of a particular school does matter when debates go beyond sports

Here is a take all College sports fans can agree with. Nobody gives a shit if you attended the school you root for. There's only 1 fanbase that does this and it's because 90 percent of people in Michigan who didn't go to MSU, wear Maize and Blue not Green and White.
