Members of the mosque returned for fajr prayers on Saturday to find the results of a devastating overnight break in, believed to have caused damage worth more than £30,000. A group of aggressive Jewish men intimidate a Muslim Al Jazeera journalist who was there to report on the Golders Green ambulance incident. They shout “Al Jazeera off our streets,” “Go home,” and “terrorist.” Their behaviour is a disgrace. If a group of Muslim men behaved like this towards a Jewish journalist, the reaction on social media would be different. Islamophobia is unacceptable.

Jews do not own Golders Green. It is a British area with a high Jewish population. How dare pro Israeli Jews attempt to kick an Al Jazeera reporter out of the area. I know the guy and he is a British citizen who can go wherever he wants to in the UK. Was he provoking? No. He was just doing his job reporting on a news story. Perhaps the authorities should visit Golders Green and remind certain individuals that it is not Tel Aviv and they have no right to expel people from the area.
