@s4schoener Right, I just remember recompile times being a big initiative before I left Unity. Wasn't sure what that implied with respect to how much the build scripting has evolved over time.

Inspired by some recent work build times, I was looking at Unity's "MegaCity Metro" sample in Unity 6. I got curious about at its build times. In particular for incremental builds (fancy speak for "I pressed the build button repeatedly but only made minimal changes inbetween.")

It's amazing how so many people are assuming this is terrible for dev ergo. I am insanely picky about productivity. I think about project architecture constantly. I write tools to speed things up all the time. I'm particular about version control. Wouldn't I know best if it's a problem for me? I have been using Unity for 10+ years. I am not making these decisions out of ignorance or lack of experience.
