I will say this is where I show pity on Vex. She was obviously failed by her parents (if I remember correctly, she does not have a good relationship), and the only other "role model" was her ex-boyfriend's father. If I am wrong, then I apologize for that, but that's what I have gathered. The problem here is a true victim's mentality. You believe you are owed, you believe that you are unable to do anything about your situation because of the hand you have been dealt, and you try to capitalize on it. You were manipulated, so you manipulate others. Nickel and dimming is a part of life for a huge majority of Americans. It's just a fact. But where the sympathy falls off is that instead of actively trying to do something about it, and I'm not talking about asking for handouts, you beg and get angry at everyone and deflect. My mom was a compulsive gambling addict. She gambled everything away, lost her relationship with me, even at one point, because of this addiction of hers. Life is very hard, and when you are faced with obstacles, you either give up and accept your fate or you change and make it work until you no longer are that weak person. Look into how to budget, cancel subscriptions, find a real job that actually pays because your little fansly/vtubing "career" ain't cutting it, chief. And make the necessary arrangements to live well within your earned means.

Vex was obviously failed by her parents and her ex's father on what budgeting is. You can still enjoy life outside of spending money. There are ways to save and pay your bills and keep up your responsibilities. Is it easy? No, not in the least. It's hard sometimes, and you go without a lot, but I came from having a compulsive gambling mother who gambled EVERYTHING away. You learn to cope with what you are and are appreciative of it. You look at the examples and make the conscience decision if you are going to imitate that lifestyle or not.
