Microslop doesn't understand what turning Copilot OFF means. It doesn't matter how many times I hide it, it comes back multiple times a day in the Outlook app. Get this pointless button out of the UI

@FrameworkPuter Would you ever consider offering a standalone fingerprint reader for desktop using this same module? There are no (modern) ones that work seamlessly, so this would be HUGE.

@FrameworkPuter It's insane how they are basically advertising for Linux these days. The renewed crackdown on local accounts news coming at the same time they announce the change to save to OneDrive by default... there is no such thing as owning your computer as long as Windows 11 is on it.

This may seem like a Linux-only account lately, but there are many good parts of Windows like Terminal, WSL, and Power Toys, and Microsoft has made massive leaps in stability and security. However, there is clearly also a mandate somewhere in the company to enshittify the installation experience, integrate AI in unhelpful ways, and upsell services through in-OS ads. We wish there was a way to get just to good parts, but we’ll continue to support Windows on our products regardless.

Linux life on the @FrameworkPuter is awesome. I didn't use hibernation in Windows due to how unpredictable it was. In Fedora I can put my laptop away for days and it's where I left off with life to spare. Also put a @dbrand skin on it make sure it looks amazing for the long run.

@GamersNexus Thanks! It's called a danbo. I have far too many lol. Side note: Do you think we could get some portrait movie posters for our personal media servers. My OCD would be happy about it not getting cut off in Plex/Jellyfin.

Today was @FrameworkPuter delivery day! My first. It's got an HX370, 128GB of DDR5 5600, and 4TB of storage. Fingers crossed that it's the "last" laptop I buy. The smoked transparent bezel is dope. 👌
