#RobloxDev Seems to be no honor among Roblox devs, reported a scammer in this dev server full of studio reps, creators, etc and not 1 mod out of the 8 I DMed responded with full evidence of the scam. Even the owner @WasTNYT of the server refuses to do anything. Yet when the scammer reports me for "discontinuing work" when he asks for unpaid extra labor and I get labeled as a scammer no questions asked. Obvious favoritism here, don't trust anybody even top studios not Jandel not Indigo or whoever tf nobody to trust here. These dudes all sketchy asf and most are <18 so they're even more immature

#RobloxDev #RobloxDevs #Scammer ❗⚠️THE OWNER OF MASHLE ACADEMY @Swift7725 (OWNER OF 52K DISCORD SERV) SCAMMED ME.❗⚠️ I got scammed by Swift and I want the community to know not to work for this guy 1/ Swift hired me to script a game (cut grass for brainrots style). We agreed on 70k R$. 2/ I took the deal thinking it'd be ~8hrs of work. It ended up taking 30+ hours over 3 days. I didn't ask for more because we had an agreement. I kept him updated with dev progress the entire time. 3/ I finish the game. Payment was agreed to be upon completion + his testing. Instead, he tells me I have to wait 1-2 days for his modeler before he can pay. Already moving the goalposts. 4/ He tests it, finds some race condition bugs that weren't reproducing on my end — I told him I'd fix them. No problem. 5/ Then he hits me with: "balance all 64 characters, mutations, rebirths, everything." This was NEVER part of our agreement. I was hired to script the systems, not do game design/balancing. 6/ I tell him balancing is extra work = extra pay. He refuses and calls the game "unfinished." Scripting systems ≠ balancing 64 characters. Those are two completely different jobs. 7/ He then revokes my access to the game — which I built inside HIS group. So now he has every script, every system, 30 hours of my work, and I have nothing. 8/ He ghosted my messages, refused to pay a single robux, and then had the AUDACITY to report ME as a scammer in a RBLX developer Discord server. Let me be clear: ✅ I completed the work we agreed on ✅ I kept him updated throughout ✅ I offered to fix bugs ❌ He moved payment goalposts ❌ He added scope AFTER completion ❌ He took all my work for FREE ❌ He reported ME as the scammer Swift walked away with a fully scripted game and paid $0. If you're a developer, protect yourself. Get payment milestones. Don't work inside someone else's group game, withhold the game files before payment is sent. Learn from my mistake. After completion, proceeds to remove my permissions and unadd me. Takeaway: Don't do commissions without at least 50% upfront payment and don't take comms from this guy, he's very unprofessional and most likely won't pay. Might just continue with the original game and sell it as a template if anyone is interested tho, discord is legendsmnd. Need to make money from this somehow, or else those 30 hours were a waste of time

@DSCreationsYT got my group scammed a while ago had 1k ccu and like 2k usd in it and even with direct devrel contacts they couldn't do anything. i doubt they'll do anything unless you're really big. good luck tho

last night i lost everything. i got hacked and they stole everything i ever worked on (my game with over 5k ccu, my ugc group with 5k+ usd worth of robux) they stole everything. i lost EVERYTHIG i worked on in the span of 2 hours

@NebulaAI heavily doubt it's actually using opus 4.6 or whatever u pick under the hood. went out of their way to deny the AI privilege to state what ai model its running on. and used opus 4.6 and compared it to the real 1 on claude and there was a very clear difference
