@JinksMarmaduke I went on Tuesday and really enjoyed it, plenty of space, no drama, good racing.

Controversial but I went to Cheltenham on Tuesday & really enjoyed it. Didn’t see any hassle, didnt queue for drinks, short queue for chips, free water machine & doughnuts were nice. Chatted to some really nice strangers abt racing/betting & train station was well organised.

With reliability like this Alonso might win even with intermittent racing 🤣 #F1 #ChineseGP

@Jirah_House I was too shocked at the time to react but I’d shown her a list of 11 physical symptoms, these things aren’t fixed by anti depressants or talking. I hope you go back, see someone else and get the help you need.

Another successful solo races as an invisible woman. Enough of the uniform to blend in, nothing to stand out, old enough and overweight enough to attract no attention. It’s very relaxing, but I didn’t have anyone to tell I had Lossiemouth at 6/1.

@DC_Zol I splashed out on a peppermint tea, I’m genuinely only there to see the horses, it’s very odd watching everyone around get drunk. Hopefully you’re able to move around once the event starts and it’s gets quieter out.

@legless2007 I could never understand the gambling, & all the alcohol over drinking. Unfortunately I have to go into Cheltenham Hospital 1st thing tomorrow for work, should be before it starts up again. I’ll probably hide out in the Glasshouse cafe at the hospital after 🙂

@DC_Zol Yes it does have a bit of an impact. I’m home and away from it all now, I wouldn’t want to be in town. I enjoy going when I can get a cheap ticket like today.

@legless2007 I try my best to avoid the races & race week. It used to be hell when we lived in Wymans Brook
