@mylosroot Found your YT channel and it have been great. Been doing ads for a long time now started with AI just like you did, trying to build an app and my own CRM. Sometimes it feels like a necessity to be a jack of all trades, leverage all the new skills you obtain. Keep pushing, WAGMI!

Whenever I try something new to make money, which I'm doing at the moment, I always have a narrative in my mind about why it's the BEST thing for me to do. For dec - march I was learning to code, and building simple apps using AI. I thought I was a genius... This was my narrative: 1. Code is high leverage, I can write it once and it can carry out tasks independently. 2. Code is hard, but now AI can code for me. 3. I already have a traffic source through my YouTube channel, so I just need to build something half decent and I can make money. 4. End of story, I'm a rich man. I would even look at the MRR of my competitor, and think "I only have to get 10 users and I'll be making X" then do a little dance. It was great fun, but also pretty stupid as it turns out it is way harder to build SaaS than I thought... The Shopify app that I made - Bombocart - still has 0 installs. But I'm not bothered, because I have a new narrative... 😬 But unlike the last, it's not far fetched, and I'm going to do it properly. - Tracking my important metrics daily - Creating systems and SOPs early on - Automating repetitive tasks with n8n - Working for 90% of the time, thinking for 10% (I'm a big over thinker) - Focusing 80% of my effort on traffic, 20% on product. - Making health a priority - Thinking longer term
