Year 6 students from Hazel Community Primary visited Leicester Royal Infirmary’s Research Space to celebrate #ClinicalTrialsDay. From testing mysterious samples and exploring virtual reality technology to trying on PPE and taking part in hands-on science activities, the students experienced a day in the life of a healthcare researcher. Living with long COVID for three years, Leicester patient Travers David McCullough took part in the PHOSP-I study at the #NIHRLeicesterBRC to help researchers better understand potential treatments for the condition.
